Rain and how light affects my mood

So first of all, copious amounts of lovely rainwater. Aren't you happy? I am.

you never really hit the ground

The sound, the smell, the grass getting greener. The flowers around my house are showing themselves here and there. In other news, I got a hold of the most delightful paper lanterns today, and they're currently throwing the only light in my room. There is a certain buttery first-lights-of-sunrise quality to the light that reminds me that I'd rather the world be purged of its clocks and go back to when there was sunrise and sunset, back to when there was moments instead of minutes. blah, sleep.
