Monday-Red red red

Here I am wearing the lipstick Izak was wearing in the first lipstick post. And, I've finished my Week of Obnoxious Lipsticks!! I'm more comfortable with crazy-bright lip colors now. Mission accomplished!! :P

Sunday-Goldy Rose

the lipstick i used had this real pretty gold sheen through it, and the base color matched the original color of my lips pretty well. (sorry about the late posts!)

Saturday- Frosty

So today I did a slightly less obnoxious lipstick. I did a very glisten-y, almost sparkly "frosted" light pink..and once again my camera phone proves inadequate at capturing the exact shade. oh wells. I kinda like it.

Friday-Purple (Ribbit)

Yay! Today is purple day. A purple smooooch to all you lovely readers. (and is it just me, or do i totally resemble a frog in this picture?)

Thursday- Hot Pink

So today was hot pink day. And I must say... the stuff stays put. The color was vibrant all day even after eating and drinking and yapping and all that. A tad too bright to wear very often though... Also, I had to post a Marilyn-esque picture, the color reminded me of her.

Wednesday, Orange

My orange lipstick looks sorta red in photos, but i really am enjoying wearing this one. Its quirky, but still has that sort of classy-red-lipstick vibe, only fresher. Weeee.

Tuesday- Neon Pink

This felt blindingly bright when i put it on, but nobody gave me any "avoid the tranny" glances, so I think its somewhat wearable. day one, accomplished.

The Obnoxious Lipstick Project

So... I've always, when dolling myself up, kind of focused on black eye liner and nuded out my lips. Which is my favorite look for me. But anyway, being sort of a runway buff, all the bright lipstick inspired me to do a little experiment. I'm doing a week of obnoxiously bright lipsticks. Every day I wear a new color, as my brother Izak so kindly demonstrates in the above picture. (He's wearing a bright red lipstick) So I figured I'd bring you guys along with me. I actually started yesterday, and I'm going on to Monday, which is my birthday. hurrah!
